I feel a close bond with students of all types, and through working extensively in groups and on teams with my fellow students, I have realized that the reason I seem to excel at tutoring is because I view all students, whatever level they might be, as people I can relate to. I hold a B.S. in Physics from the City College of New York. Throughout high school, I enjoyed opportunities to collaborate with my fellow students, and was a member of the famed robotics team of the Bronx High School of Science. During my time at City College of New York, I was able to work with my fellow students on a student research journal, where I served as an editor. In terms of tutoring, I have four years of experience tutoring high school and college students. The areas that I have tutored students span many different subjects. These areas include physics, mathematics, and reading comprehension. I have extensive experience preparing students for SAT Mathematics, and I have recently spent numerous months doing just that. I am also a fluent Spanish speaker and writer, so I am able to help students taking beginning to advanced Spanish courses.
